It’s been a while since I write here. And for those who may be thought that I died (lol) or I stopped translating, it’s not the case. It’s just that in this period, I just can find even one or tow hours to focus on translating as I’m busy from morning to night and also the week end. But what I’m doing right now, I’ll be done with it at the end of this month; so, I think I’ll resume the translations in June (mid June).
Also, if during this period, there’s someone who wants to help with the translation of Madan (or any other novels on this blog), you can notify me, and I’ll send you the raw texts I’ve already prepared, all ready to be translated.

As for the translation, I don’t see it happening anytime soon. I still say that looking for a second translator would be the most beneficial for Madan or you might as well just shelve it since the project can’t advance with only one person who goes MIA for extended periods of time. I’m not saying I’m not grateful for the chapters Setsuna did, but it would be better over saying he will do it when he can’t, the project being on hiatus for over half a year by now. A clear answer about it would be good at this point.
You have to understand that Setsuna is busy with real stuff and such as well. He may not be able to do any updates right now even if he wants to. If you keep saying these kinds of things, you might piss off or annoy him to the point that he decides to stop translation. It can certainly happen, you know? So just be patient.

Yeah? Are you his spokesperson or something? I didn’t say anything that should upset him since it’s all true, so I’d appreciate if you kept that condescending tone where it belongs. Especially since I don’t see you offering any alternatives or having problems with someone else spoiling the story.
No, giving spoilers is still bad. But I’ve heard of plenty of fan-translators stopping after people commenting on their sites said the kind of stuff you just said. I’m just trying to warn you.
And if he’s really so busy that no one from the team can even say hi then I’m even more right since he won’t be able to translate anything for another half a year or even longer, which means dead project, which means we’re back to where we started and all you did was barking up the wrong tree for no reason other than being scared that someone, who’s not able to translate anything due to RL will say he will not continue. Which would bring about a situation where someone who wasn’t on the script at the moment in the first place would continue what he was doing until then… nothing, Criticizing me now considering all that would be pretentious to say the least.
Once again, I never said I’m not grateful for what he did with Madan. But acting as if simply waiting will magically finish the volumes is ignorant, so if you don’t have something more helpful to say, then there’s no point in continuing this conversation.
Pestering an active member is not nearly the same as voicing concerns and suggestions in a project where the ONLY translator himself put the novel on hiatus. Please try to make a distinction.

I wasn’t pestering him to get back to translating, I said we either find and ask another, second translator for this project or we might as well declare it dead since it’s clear Setsuna can’t and won’t be on it for a very long time, possibly not actively coming back ever. Even he said that if another translator were to join, they would be welcome so you’re just being ignorant.
At this point, you’re just white knighting without having anything meaningful to add or even understand what I was saying, meaning it’d be better if you just didn’t respond. Being pretentious won’t magically make the translations continue.
Chill it down. Lamenting even further will not do good to anyone. I also share your lamentation and panic about the “promise” being overdue, especially when the epilogue should’ve done some day ago if not for weeks, but the last thing we even fear that the critic we constantly will only make the author himself goes rampage and HE is the one who lamenting about everything than any of us do.
Just to be clear, I did some of transcripts translations earlier at the wikia in advance just in case something like this would even happened thanks to the Chinese sources, especially the Zhcted Crisis Arc. However, even I can’t guarantee that the sources to be accurate, so I have to wait until his return and fulfill that promise sooner than ever.
I don’t think that happens til the epilogue.

Yea, he said “mid-June”. Given that it is now mid-July and he has yet to make a peep, it is understandable that people are starting to freak out again.
there is bound to be delays if it’s one person translating besides it’s not a job it’s a hobby so so the pace he goes at it is his decision so be patient plz. (though it’s regretable it’s slow)

The Epilogue is already translated, it just has to be edited. Hopefully it will be. In the meantime, finish Chapter 4 (it’s 55% done).
Then give me the script so I can actually work on it….

Chingaruna517 is going to be doing it. He’s having difficulty, so it might take a while. He’ll translate until Setsuna comes back.

I have no idea when he will be finishing volume 13 or is he still translating it. According to Chingaruna517 he will be translating it on his own pace
It appears that Chingaruna517 needs help with translating it. I’m hoping Bakapervert will translate it (or at least just help Chingaruna517). Some other translator is already doing Volume 14, albeit at a slow pace.
I’m back and I’ll finish the translation of volume 13 which I left halfway (because I’ve really been so busy these months). Aside from the translator who are doing volume 14, You’re saying that Chingaruna517 also wishes to translate it, right? Will he begin with volume 15 (as volume 14 is already taken)? If so, the when I’m done with volume 13, I’ll begin translating volume 16. I think it’ll better that way, and the translation of this series will end much earlier.
