In times of war, set in Western Europe, Eleonora Viltaria, one of the seven Vanadis of Zhcted, leads the war into Brune. There are actually seven Vanadis, named like this because they each received a powerful weapon from the dragon, to reign over 7 territories, each possessing their own. The power of the Vanadis causes dread and fear toward their enemies. An Earl in the service of the country of Brune, a young archer called Tigre, got a taste of it after he was defeated on the battlefield by Ellen (Eleonora). Hello, Thanks for the Goodyear work.
I’d like to know if u have the pdf’s of the 6th, 7th and 8th volumes to download. I already downloads the other on bakatsuki but they don’t have this three.

  6. Are U planing on Translating this anytime soon or has it been dropped?

If I read up till the latest chapter in the manga vol. 9, where should I start in the novel? Are they relatively the same? Also thanks alot for your translation and I am looking forward to seeing Saijaku picked up again.

You should read the novel from the beginning, actually. There are some differences here and there, like how Tigre didn’t even try kiss Elen when she was sleeping after getting drunk during that one party in the novel, while in the manga, he did move in to kiss her before stopping himself.

@dragonosman: thank you for replying and sorry to ask again but do you mind telling me in more detail about the differences between the manga and the novel? So far I’ve read volume 1 and don’t feel like reading the story all over again, especially since the novel tends to be more detailed than the manga, but if it’s worth it I will read it.

What I really wanna know is if it’s one of those mangas that shy away from mature content in the novel, and I’m not really fond of that genre. If it’s like that then the manga is enough for me thank you very much. And I don’t mind spoilers (WATCH OUT PEOPLE!). Thank you thank you.

Don’t worry, Madan isn’t like that. There’s some ecchiness, admittedly, but it’s not to the level of Shinmai, HxH and Magika (the first and third of which I’m also reading – they’re really good if you can handle the Borderline-H stuff, and the Borderline-H and ecchi is part of the plot, too).

But yeah, again, Madan isn’t like that. But you should read it more for the fact that it’s the original story. Adaptations don’t always follow the original story to the T. They’re even allowed to completely change it if they want – case in point, the first anime series of Full Metal Alchemist, which didn’t follow the manga at all.

@dragonosman2: Both of which I’ve dropped the manga adaptations, Shinmai pretty early compared to Magika, I didn’t like the latter from the start but still put up with it till almost chapter 30. Sorry for blabbering but I’m pretty bored with nothing to read except for OreShura that I’m almost done with and the scarce manga updates from time to time. I’m contemplating whether I should learn japanese and translate myself. Ore ga heroine seems pretty good with no updates for almost two years and a half now. It seems inevitable that I’ll be learning French soon. T_T Je sui very sad.

  8. Any updates on this series? Like has the latest volume been released?
