Looks like the anime is kind of rushed………

it does seem a bit so… though I only have just fast forward most of the scene and look at the 2nd eps last part… the reveal feel a bit lackluster, 2nd vol ending isnt what i hoped the series to be. It seems for Supernatural high school series Rakudai Kishi no Eiyuutan is the way for those looking for series that diverge from the boring repetitive tropes.

I just found out about this title from the recently aired anime. Thanks a lot for translating and posting out the original light novel series. It really helps fill in the gaps left out in the anime and the missing scenes unavailable in the manga translations and raw postings.

  9. RedWolff says:

Once again great work and thanks for your efforts.

  10. Ceej says:

almost done reading vol. 2, I hope the translations will continue soon~ looking forward for it! >_<

  11. GloriousFin says:

  12. João Rosa says:

Is this being translated right now? Sry new here

  13. Tommy Wang says:

The translation will resume as soon as setsuna finish with volume 8 n’ 9 of Gakusen

After seeing the latest anime episode of “Saijaku Muhai no Bahamut”, I realise the cheapskates who commissioned the anime series are cutting A LOT of character development scenes from the light novels and manga. Plus, they’re downgrading on showing how capable the girls are with their Drag-Knights. They should have commissioned the anime as a 24-26 episode anime series instead of a measly 12-episode version.

On the other hand, considering how slow the translations for the “Saijaku Muhai no Bahamut” light novels and manga are going, the anime series provide some general ideas of how future story arcs would progress. Plus, the animated scenes help makes the scenes clearer.

while i agree, 11-13 episodes is pretty standard though and all the anime intended to do was boost sales of the LN so that’s why sadly they don’t care about building it up😦

  15. Fred says:

since the anime is out, and it will likely cover up to volume 4, shouldn’t these guys just resume translation from Volume 5?

    • setsuna86 says:

      I think it’ll be until vol4 (Philphie’s vol)

      • RedWolff says:

Hence why I like following your light novel translations. It covers more of the story and more of the character and plot development. Thanks again for the good work.

  17. Ceej says:

I think the anime will end at Vol. 5, I wonder how many volume is this now?

  18. RedWolff says:

As of January 2016, there are 8 volumes in the series.

  19. OneSingularity says:

Just a quick question, Is this the order in which the 3 series would be translated ?: 1)Gakusen
    2)Vanadis
    3)Bahamut

  20. kokomiguel says:

    Did the series been dropped?

  21. Yes series has been dropped

  22. Red says:

    Hmmm.. Dropped?

  23. Snew says:

  24. svee7 says:

Setsuna86, thanks for the hard work. Without peeps like you, things would be bland.
